The Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) is the successor to the existing Insurance Mediation Directive (IMD) brought in back in 2005. The new rules are scheduled to be implemented in October this year.
If you’re not already fully up to speed with your duties and obligations under the new rules, it’s high time you were. Even if you’re fairly confident you know what you’re doing, there’s no harm double-checking!
